Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorised to bind that company to these Terms.

2. The Service

FindInvestors provides a searchable database of business contact information for angel investors and venture-capital firms, intended solely to help founders conduct their own good-faith fundraising outreach. We surface this information; we do not broker introductions, guarantee responses, or participate in any resulting financing.

3. Accounts & authentication

Accounts are created via Google sign-in or email one-time-password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the email account or Google account you sign in with, and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@raiselist.in of any unauthorised use.

4. Credits

• The Service runs on prepaid credits. One (1) credit unlocks one (1) investor contact. Unlocking is final — the credit is consumed at the moment of unlock and reveals the contact.
• New accounts receive one (1) complimentary credit on signup, and may receive two (2) bonus credits no more than once every seven (7) days on returning to the Service. Bonus credits are promotional, discretionary, non-transferable, and carry no cash value.
• Purchased credit packs are priced as displayed at checkout (currently ₹999 / 100 credits and ₹1,999 / 300 credits) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Credits are tied to your account, are non-transferable, and may not be resold or exchanged for cash.
• Once an investor contact has been unlocked, it remains accessible in your account and does not require re-spending a credit.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by our third-party payment gateway, Razorpay. By purchasing, you also agree to Razorpay’s terms. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase.

6. Refunds

Refunds are strictly processed only if a purchased credit pack remains 100% unconsumed. No partial refunds are issued for used credits. Complimentary and bonus credits are never refundable. Verified-email bounce credits, where offered, are re-credited to your account (not refunded as cash) subject to Section 7. Refund requests may be sent to hello@raiselist.in.

7. Data accuracy & no investment guarantee

We take reasonable steps to verify contact information, but the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that any contact is current, accurate, responsive, or that any investor is actively deploying capital. Nothing on the Service is investment advice, a solicitation, or a guarantee of funding, meetings, or replies. Your fundraising outcomes are your own responsibility.

8. Acceptable use

You agree that you will NOT:

• Resell, sublicense, redistribute, publish, or otherwise share unlocked contact data with any third party.
• Scrape, crawl, bulk-export beyond your own unlocked contacts, or attempt to reconstruct the database.
• Use the contacts to send unlawful, deceptive, bulk unsolicited, or harassing communications, or to violate anti-spam, telemarketing, or data-protection laws.
• Circumvent credit deductions, the masking of locked contacts, rate limits, or any security control.
• Use automated means to access the Service except as expressly permitted.

You must use unlocked contacts only for your own legitimate, individualised fundraising outreach, and must honour any recipient’s request to stop contacting them.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its compilation of data, software, design, and content are owned by FindInvestors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

10. Third-party services

The Service integrates third parties including Razorpay (payments), Supabase (infrastructure), Google (sign-in), and Calendly (bookings). Your use of those features may be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms — in particular the Acceptable Use section. On termination for breach, unused credits are forfeited without refund.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FindInvestors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost funding, or lost opportunities. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold FindInvestors harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your outreach communications, or your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any applicable arbitration agreement, the courts at [City], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
